Zimmermann Formula Z Front Brake Discs 408x36mm – Porsche 992 GT3 is a direct-replacement front brake disc for the listed Porsche GT applications. It is intended for vehicles using the stated steel brakes system and retains the original mounting arrangement, caliper position and brake balance.

What is supplied

Zimmermann Formula Z brake discs are developed as premium two-piece direct replacements for high-performance applications. The separate friction ring and centre bell are designed to manage heat and expansion while retaining the correct factory mounting dimensions.

The vented and perforated friction surface supports heat evacuation and pad-gas release during repeated braking. The two-piece layout also helps limit heat transfer into the hub area and can reduce unnecessary rotating mass compared with a comparable one-piece design.

Formula Z discs are intended to provide a high-quality road and fast-road replacement while preserving the correct ABS, caliper and wheel-clearance relationships of the original brake system.

Installation and compatibility notes

• Confirm compatibility by VIN, original Porsche part number or the number on the component removed from the vehicle.
• Check whether the car is fitted with conventional steel brakes or Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes.
• Inspect the caliper, pad retaining hardware, brake hoses and wear sensors while the brake system is dismantled.
• Brake discs must be installed onto clean, corrosion-free hub faces and checked for runout before the vehicle is returned to service.
• New pads and discs require the correct bedding procedure. Avoid prolonged stationary brake application immediately after heavy braking.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended on all GT and RS braking systems.
