When cornering hard, the rear control arm bushes in the BMW F80 M3/F82 M4 flex. This flex causes the rear camber angle to change dynamically, which causes a reduction in rear traction as the changing camber results in inconsistent levels of grip through the corner. Any changes to the rear camber angles will also change the rear toe angles, increasing rear instability and causing the rear end to "scrabble".
To solve this issue we designed our Suspension Secrets Rear Solid Control Arm Bush for the BMW F80 M3/F82 M4. Compared to the OEM rubber bushes, our solid bushes do not flex, and as a result the rear camber and toe remains constant when cornering, significantly increasing cornering stability.
