SHW Performance Front Brake Discs 380x34mm – Porsche 991 GT3/RS is a direct-replacement front brake disc for the listed Porsche GT applications. It is intended for vehicles using the stated steel brakes system and retains the original mounting arrangement, caliper position and brake balance.

Brake discs on Porsche GT models are highly application-specific. Diameter alone is not enough to confirm compatibility: disc thickness, offset, bell depth, handed orientation, brake option and production date must also match.

What is supplied

One brake disc; select left or right. Brake disc rotors are priced individually. Where the product is handed, select the correct left- or right-hand part number. A complete axle replacement normally requires one left disc and one right disc.

Where the vehicle specification calls for a floating two-piece rotor, the friction ring is connected to an aluminium bell through stainless-steel pins. This arrangement can reduce rotating and unsprung mass, allow the friction ring to expand more freely under temperature and improve cooling airflow through the internal vanes.

SHW places particular emphasis on repeatable braking performance, thermal stability, durability and noise control. Curved internal vane designs are used where specified to balance structural strength with efficient heat evacuation. The result is a direct-replacement product designed for consistent performance under repeated braking loads.

Installation and compatibility notes

• Confirm compatibility by VIN, original Porsche part number or the number on the component removed from the vehicle.
• Check whether the car is fitted with conventional steel brakes or Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes.
• Inspect the caliper, pad retaining hardware, brake hoses and wear sensors while the brake system is dismantled.
• Brake discs must be installed onto clean, corrosion-free hub faces and checked for runout before the vehicle is returned to service.
• New pads and discs require the correct bedding procedure. Avoid prolonged stationary brake application immediately after heavy braking.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended on all GT and RS braking systems.
