The Infinity Design Carbon Intake System transforms the intake path on the Honda Civic Type R FL5 with a larger-volume airbox, freer-flowing inlet and distinctive pre-preg carbon construction. It is engineered as a complete intake solution rather than a cosmetic filter replacement.

The system uses an expanding venturi inlet tube with integrated MAF housing feeding a redesigned airbox with a substantially enlarged air opening. A large high-surface-area filter supports the K20C1 turbo engine's airflow demand while the enclosed design is intended to manage intake temperatures. Infinity Design reports improved throttle response and measurable power gains from controlled dyno testing, with no ECU calibration required.
