Why choose HEL braided brake lines?

Factory rubber brake hoses naturally expand slightly under heavy hydraulic pressure and repeated heat cycles. Whilst perfectly suitable for normal road driving, performance driving and track use can place significantly greater demands on the braking system.

HEL braided brake lines replace the original hoses with a PTFE-lined hose reinforced by a stainless-steel braid. This construction helps minimise hose expansion, resulting in a more consistent transfer of hydraulic pressure from the brake pedal to the brake calipers.

Installation and compatibility

Professional installation is recommended. Following installation, the braking system must be correctly bled using a suitable brake fluid before the vehicle is driven.

Brake fluid is not included unless specifically selected as part of a product option.
