The Challenge The performance of chargecooled engines hinges on the coolant temperature within the system. Ensuring it stays cool for extended periods is crucial, especially in tuned applications where the standard system may struggle to maintain the ideal temperature. To consistently achieve a lower running temperature, the key lies in enhancing the system's capacity and its cooling efficiency.

The Solution AIRTEC Motorsport tackles this challenge by innovatively extending the original setup, working within the confined space behind the bumper. Instead of making it wider or taller, we introduced a core that's nearly 60mm thicker, boasting a depth of 90mm. This design allows for a triple pass core, enabling the coolant to circulate through the radiator three times before exiting. The result is an impressive capacity increase to 23.3 litres, a remarkable 203% gain compared to the original 7.7 litres.

Despite the substantial boost in cooling capacity, our radiator seamlessly fits behind the bumper without the need for modifications. Utilizing the OEM mounts and original coolant connectors, installation is a breeze. To safeguard the larger core at the car's front, we've included a stone guard for added protection.
