AIRTEC MOTORSPORT AUXILIARY RADIATORS FOR 1.8 / 2.0 TSI EA888 GEN 4 ENGINE – 2020 ONWARDS

As part of our expanding Audi/VW and Seat product ranges, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch our uprated auxiliary radiators for DSG or engine coolant suitable for track or fast road use.

The Issue
During extended periods of track or fast road use, particularly for cars with increased power, both the DSG transmission oil and the engine coolant can reach temperatures that are too high to offer sufficient cooling protection. This can cause the ECU to limit torque output and extend gearbox shift times to protect the drivetrain.

The Solution
AIRTEC Motorsport's solution is to increase the size, capacity and cooling ability of the original auxiliary radiators mounted behind either side of the bumper. The uprated radiators are wider and thicker, increasing capacity by approximately 67% over the original units while also increasing frontal area.

The core uses a quadruple-pass design, increasing the time coolant spends travelling through the radiator to improve heat rejection. The radiators fit behind the original bumper and use the OEM mounting points and coolant connections. A removable stone guard helps protect the larger core from road debris.

Finished in a high-quality powder-coated black finish, the fitting kit includes the required fixtures and a detailed fitting guide.
