Millway Motorsport Dual Mount Diff Lift Kit, Street Version. This kit is suitable for F87 M2, F87 M2 Competition, F80 M3, F82/F83 M4.
It is commonplace for lowered or hard-used examples of these cars to encounter damage to the differential cooling fins. With Millway’s Diff Lift Kit, the differential is not only raised out of harm’s way, but improvements are made to the driveshaft geometry too. Another problem, especially with increased power levels, is to damage the original single differential rear bushing. BMW updated the bushing spec to help with this, however there is a second differential bush mounting location on the original subframe – making use of this is the key to maximum reliability and torque capacity.
Millway’s billet rear diff hanger makes use of the second differential mounting location – Millway recommend using the updated BMW rear bushes (part no 33178094690) – choose one bush if your car already has the updated plastic bush, or two if you have the original design rubber bush. The Millway parts are machined from billet aluminium at their Swedish HQ. Differential front mounting bushes and bolts are also included.
Priced per vehicle setup. Millway Press Tool for fitting rear bushes available separately.
Please note that handbrake cable carriers may need adjusting for clearance. Yellow BMW bushes pictured are not included – please purchase separately using part number above.
For fitting instructions, Millway Adjustable Camber Plate, Millway Adjustable Arm, Millway Solid Aluminium Bushing and other Millway parts manuals.

Millway FAQ's
Here's some frequently asked questions about Millway
Are Millway camber plates noisy?
Millway camber plates can introduce some extra NVH compared with factory rubber top mounts, but the Street version is generally considered much quieter than full spherical/uniball camber plates. Forum feedback is mixed depending on the car, damper and install, but several owners report the Street version being quiet or only slightly louder than stock, while others have experienced noise when paired with certain coilovers or electronic damper setups.
What is the difference between Millway Street and Uniball camber plates?
The Street version is the better choice for most road cars because it uses a more comfort-focused design to reduce noise and harshness. The Uniball version is more motorsport-focused and can offer a more direct feel, but usually with more NVH. Forum discussions often describe the Street version as quieter, with slightly less maximum camber than the spherical/uniball version.
Do I need Millway camber plates for track days?
They are a very worthwhile upgrade if you use your BMW on track. Extra front camber helps the tyre sit flatter when cornering hard, which can improve front grip, steering response and tyre wear. They are especially useful on cars like the BMW M2, M3, M4, M140i and M240i, where the factory front alignment can be limiting for track use.
Will Millway suspension make my car harsher?
It depends which parts you fit. Camber plates, monoball bushes and stiffer suspension components usually make the car feel more direct, but they can also pass more road texture into the cabin than factory rubber parts. Millway’s Street parts are aimed at balancing sharper handling with sensible road manners, whereas Uniball or race-style parts are more focused on performance than comfort.
Do Millway camber plates need an alignment after fitting?
Yes. Any time you fit adjustable camber plates, thrust arm bushes or other suspension geometry parts, the car should be properly aligned afterwards. The main benefit of camber plates is that they allow the front camber to be set more aggressively, so fitting them without alignment means you are not getting the full advantage.
Can Millway camber plates clunk?
They should not clunk if correctly installed, correctly matched to the damper/spring setup and properly torqued. Forum threads show that noise issues can happen where parts are mismatched, installed incorrectly, over-torqued or paired with certain suspension setups. One G87 Bimmerpost thread specifically warns owners to make sure alignment shops use the correct torque on Millway camber plate hardware.
Do Millway parts fit BMW M2, M3 and M4 models?
Yes, Millway makes suspension parts for many BMW M cars, including F87 M2, F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and newer G87/G80/G82 platforms. Fitment still needs to be checked carefully because some cars use different part numbers depending on model, year, engine and suspension setup; Millway notes, for example, that F87 M2 camber plate part numbers vary between N55 and S55 models.
Are Millway thrust arm bushes worth fitting?
Yes, especially if you want sharper steering response and better front-end control. The factory BMW thrust arm bush is designed for comfort, so it can move under braking and cornering load. Millway’s sealed uniball design reduces unwanted movement, which helps the car feel more precise during hard braking, turn-in and fast road or track driving.
Why buy Millway suspension from Nineteen72 Performance?
Millway parts are a strong choice for BMW owners who want a sharper, more focused chassis without going straight to a full race setup. We can help check the correct Millway part for your exact car, suspension setup and intended use, whether that is fast road, track days or a more serious Clubsport build.
