With Millway’s Diff Lift Kit, the differential is not only raised out of harm’s way, but improvements are made to the driveshaft geometry too. Another problem, especially with increased power levels, is to damage the original single differential rear bushing. BMW updated the bushing spec to help with this, however there is a second differential bush mounting location on the original subframe – making use of this is the key to maximum reliability and torque capacity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMillway’s billet rear diff hanger makes use of the second differential mounting location – Millway recommend using the updated BMW rear bushes (part no\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e33178094690) – choose one bush if your car already has the updated plastic bush, or two if you have the original design rubber bush.
