If you’ve followed Nineteen72 Performance through 2025, you’ll know it’s been a year of doing things properly.
Not chasing noise. Not building “for the internet”. Just building, driving, learning, and showing up for the community with better parts, better standards, and a clear direction behind everything we put our name on.
This year was a big one for us. We developed our own platforms, ran events, launched new bits, and got the kind of European miles in that implemented decisions. Here’s the full 2025 recap.
The MK6 GTD: upgraded properly, driven properly
One of the biggest highlights of the year was kitting out our MK6 GTD with a setup designed for real-world performance, not just aesthetics.
The core upgrades:
-
Powerflex to tighten up the chassis response and sharpen feel
-
EBC braking upgrades for stronger, more confident stopping power
-
MTec hardware to support braking performance and reliability
-
BC Racing ER coilovers to properly dial in ride height, stance, and control
This wasn’t a “build for photos”. The MK6 became a genuine test platform, something we could drive, learn from, tweak, and trust. It helped shape our thinking around what actually makes a difference on the road, and what’s worth recommending to customers.

The M2 Competition: why we chose it, and what the mods actually do...
Another major milestone for Nineteen72 Performance in 2025 was picking up an M2 Competition from Ravenswood, it wasn’t a random purchase.
We wanted a platform that could do everything we care about as a brand: fast-road driving, European trips, occasional track focus, and real product testing. The M2 Comp is the sweet spot. It’s compact, properly capable out of the box, and it responds brilliantly to sensible OEM+ upgrades without needing to go extreme.
Just as importantly, it represents where Nineteen72 Performance is heading: modern performance, strong aftermarket support, and a car that customers instantly relate to.
Our approach: tighten the key areas without ruining the car
Instead of chasing a “build list”, we focused on the areas that transform the driving experience the most: brakes, tyres, suspension, and detail.
Here’s what we run and why:
-
EBC Redstuff pads
Chosen for improved road performance and confidence. They give a stronger initial bite than a tired OEM feel and help the car feel more dependable when you start pushing on. -
Motul RBF660 brake fluid
Brake fluid is a heat management upgrade. RBF660 has a higher boiling point than typical road fluid, which helps keep the pedal consistent when the brakes get worked hard on fast roads or repeated runs. -
HEL braided brake lines
Braided lines reduce the “spongy” feeling you can get as rubber lines age and heat up. The result is a firmer, more consistent pedal, which makes the car easier to drive smoothly and confidently. -
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres
This is the grip upgrade that changes the whole personality of the car. Cup 2s bring sharper turn-in, higher traction, and more confidence at speed, especially in warmer conditions. They suit the M2 Comp perfectly when you want that more focused feel. -
Eibach springs
These sharpen the stance and improve overall posture without turning the car into a headache to live with. The car sits “right”, feels tighter, and looks more purposeful — still usable day-to-day. -
Bimecc spacers + stud conversion
Spacers dial in wheel fitment properly so the car looks balanced from every angle. The stud and nut kit adds a clean motorsport touch and makes wheel changes easier (especially useful when you’re running spacers). -
MMX engine bay goodies
Not everything has to be a lap-time mod. The engine bay details are about presentation and pride — subtle upgrades that make the car feel curated every time the bonnet’s up.
The result
The M2 stays OEM+ at a glance, but it drives and feels far more “dialled”:
-
more confidence on the brakes
-
more precision through the steering and front end
-
more grip where it counts
-
better stance and overall presence
It’s the exact kind of build philosophy we push at Nineteen72 Performance: real upgrades, real reasons, and real miles behind them.

Team Nineteen72 decals: you’ll start spotting them
This year we released our Team Nineteen72 decals — and you’ll see them popping up on certain vehicles.
They’re simple by design: clean, subtle, and made for people who are genuinely part of the circle. It’s not about being loud; it’s about representing something that’s built around good taste, proper parts, and real driving.
If you’ve already got one on your car, you’re officially part of it.

Events: Abruzzi in October, plus a collab with Gapitized
2025 wasn’t just about the cars — it was about people.
We hosted our October event at Abruzzi, which was a big moment for us. Events are where the online side becomes real: customers become faces, builds become conversations, and the community grows stronger.
We also held a collab event with Gapitized — a partnership that made sense because the standards, style, and audience align. The best collaborations aren’t forced; they feel natural. This was one of those.
The Europe run: Nürburgring, Spa & Le Mans 24
Then came the trips — the kind that remind you why you started all this in the first place.
We made it out to:
-
The Nürburgring — the benchmark. Iconic, intense, and always a lesson.
-
Spa — fast, technical, and legendary. Even being there raises your standards.
-
Le Mans 24 — motorsport heritage on another level. Non-stop atmosphere and inspiration.
These weren’t just “travel moments”. They actively shape the brand — the parts we rate, the setups we trust, and the direction we want to take things next.
Behind the scenes: building a smarter Nineteen72 experience
While all this was happening on the surface, we were also doing the quieter work that makes everything scale properly.
2025 was a big year for refining the foundations:
-
Improving the shopping experience so it feels quicker, cleaner, and more “Nineteen72”
-
Pushing toward a vehicle-first shopping journey, where customers can find the right parts faster and with more confidence.
-
Building better structure behind the scenes so the business can grow without losing the detail that makes it what it is.
The goal is simple: less friction and a smoother path from “I’ve got this car” to “this is what fits”.
What 2026 is for
If 2025 was foundations and momentum, 2026 is about focus:
-
Further defining our M2 Comp.
-
More events (and better ones)
-
More European miles and motorsport inspiration
-
A faster, smarter shopping experience for customers
-
and keeping everything consistent — parts, presentation, service, and community
If you supported Nineteen72 Performance this year, ordered from us, attended an event, shared the page, run the decal, or simply followed along, thank you. We’re building this properly, and we’re only getting started.
